Does Courshway take a percentage of my sales?

No. You pay a flat monthly subscription and keep 100% of every course sale. Payments run through Stripe directly to your account. We never take a percentage.

How does Courshway pricing compare to Teachable, Kajabi, or Udemy?

Course platforms price very differently, so it's worth comparing directly against what you'd actually pay. Here's where Courshway stands: one flat price — $19 or $49 a month, or $190 or $490 a year — and we never take a percentage of your course sales. You keep 100% of every sale minus Stripe's standard processing fee, which goes to Stripe rather than to us. Because the fee is flat, your cost stays the same as your sales grow.

What we've built the platform around is finishing. The AI Course Assistant answers your students' questions inside the lesson, progress tracking picks them up where they left off, and re-engagement nudges reach the ones who drift. On the building side, AI drafts your outline and lessons in your own writing voice, and payment plans let students split a higher-priced course over several months. Can I switch between Essential and Pro?

Yes, anytime from your account settings. Upgrades take effect immediately — you're charged a prorated amount for the time left in your current billing period. Downgrades take effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, so you keep what you paid for until then; nothing is charged when you request one, and the remaining part of that period isn't refunded or prorated. You can cancel a scheduled downgrade any time before it takes effect. Your courses come with you either way.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from your account settings whenever you like. You keep access through the end of your current billing period, and your courses and student data are preserved.

Can I pay yearly?

Yes. Essential is $19/month or $190/year, and Pro is $49/month or $490/year — paying annually saves about 17%. You can switch between monthly and annual billing any time from your account settings.

Can my students pay in installments?

Yes. You can offer payment plans on any course, letting students split the price across 3, 6, or 12 monthly payments instead of paying it all upfront — which puts a higher-priced course within reach of more of your audience. You choose whether to add a surcharge. Included on both plans at no extra cost.

Is there a free trial?

There's no free trial, but Essential is just $19/month and you can cancel anytime — a low-risk way to build and launch your first course.

What's the real difference between Essential and Pro?

Essential gets you launched: build, sell, and run one course for up to 250 enrollments, with the full builder toolkit, video hosting, and a ready-to-sell landing page. It's everything you need to get a course out into the world.

Pro also lets you connect Courshway to your other tools — send new students to your mailing list automatically, or enroll someone you sold to on your own site. Works with Zapier, Make, or anything that can call a URL.

Pro is about growth and finishing. You get unlimited courses and unlimited enrollments, custom landing-page styling, and your branding front and center. But the feature that changes the most is the AI Course Assistant — a tutor trained on your course, including the words in your videos, that answers your students' questions the moment they get stuck and points them to the exact lesson.
